Hat Size

[How to measure hat size]
■Basic size (green line)
Measure from the center of the forehead, passing about 1cm-1.5cm above the ear, to the protruding part at the back of the head
■ Amida cover (red line)
Same as the basic size, measure by passing over the ear and shifting towards the back of the head
Measure your hat at the position you normally wear it in, without squeezing it too tightly. Add 1cm to that measurement to get your hat size. The size may vary slightly depending on how you wear it, so please pay attention to the position.

*Please note that there is a size difference between US and UK sizes.

[Head shape]
There are various types of skull bones, such as Western and Asian types.
It is said that Japanese people have heads that are close to circular, while Westerners tend to have heads that are oval and long from front to back. As shown in the diagram above, even if the heads are roughly the same size, the shapes can be different.
Even if the head size is correct, if the shape is extremely different, the silhouette will be distorted when you pick up the hat and try it on (such as the brim becoming ridged).
We will take this into consideration when making custom orders.
